The Director, Royal Ambassadors Ogun Baptist Conference, Coun. Sunday Babalola has explained the plans and procedures of the 110th Convention-in-Session for Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria (RAN). The Ogun and Oke-Ogun Conferences will be co-hosting the 110th edition of the Annual Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC) gathering at the Baptist International Convention Centre (BICC) on Lufuwape Town, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. While speaking on the weekly online chat of RAN, Coun. Babalola made explanations on: Address to Venues, Pre-Convention Mission Trip, Accommodation and others. The National Mission Trip for 2023 has been scheduled to commence with arrival at FBC Mowe on Thursday, 20th April, 2023 which will run till Sunday, 23rd April, 2023. All participants are to converge at First Baptist Church, Mowe on that Thursday by 5pm and stay there till Friday morning. The mission trip is taking place at Oore-Ofe Baptist Church Mokoloki Town and there is provision of buses to convey all Missionaries to the Mission Field on Friday Morning. To locate the convergence point, participants are to find their way to Mowe, Lagos- Ibadan Express Way. First Baptist Church Mowe is a tall building on your right. You can ask around for directions to First Baptist church Mowe at the Car wash Bus Stop beside Ifokanbale Hotel(by the right). For ease of access to the venue you can also contact Amb. The dress code for the programme are: R A T-SHIRT (Play Uniform) DRESS UNIFORM (2 Pockets) and CENTENARY ANKARA! Couns. Babalola explained that “Mokoloki Town is not too big and it is multiethnic and multi religious but major dominant are Yorubas. The people are accommodating but it is advisable we all stay within the areas designated for our programmes. “Mokoloki Town is not a town that runs on major electricity supply to generate power. The source of power in the town is “Solar energy” which serves the entire town of over 400 houses. “It is expected that you come to the Mission Field with your Blanket, Bucket, Plates and spoons.” On Convention accommodation, he disclosed that Conference Directors are strictly in charge as accommodation have been secured at RCCG extension (Lotto) same venue as last year but improved accommodation this year. Buses will convey those that attended the Mission Trip back to Mowe on Sunday evening from where everyone will find their way down to Convention ground. Hostels will be open by Saturday evening till the last day of the Convention. The Royal Ambassadors Session will hold on Monday 24th March between 07:00 – 10:00 AM AT THE Hall 3, Baptist International Convention Center (BICC) as it has been earlier publicised. Parade rehearsal will hold inside RCCG playing ground on Tuesday and Wednesday. He warned that no Conference should have rehearsal on the playground without due approval from the host. The parade proper will take place during the closing ceremony of the general Session on Thursday. He wishes us all accident-free journeys in Jesus name.
